His mother was name fadumo timocad (qandhicilay) , but Historically when King Harti died who was their father and the founder of the Harti Nation according to the legend the oldest son of the family who was Majeerteen tried to plot under this brothers his plot was to steal the wealth that their father King harti left for his family , Dhulbahante who was much younger then majeerteen understood the plot and fled with his fathers wealth ( camels, sheeps and some gold ) to the Hawd area of Somalia (Reserve area) which located North-Western at the of Somalia a place call Cayn (Buuhoodle.) At that time nobody ever came after him to claim his or her part of the Harti's wealth.

According to the U.N , AU, IGAD, and Dhulbahante elders Dhulbahante's descendants are estimated today more than 600,000 members, about one-third and half of Harti's descendants are of Dhulbahante , Dhulbahante resides Sool, Sanaag, Cayn, Together, Nugal, and Lower Juba states of Somalia, North Eastern province of Kenya, and Eastern Ethiopia. They are the majority in Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn, and minorities in all other states.
Traditionally, Harti has a kingdom but after Said Harti fled from it, the kingdom remained only for the Majeerteen, so Majeerteen became the King of the other Eastern Harti Nation and Dhulbahante announced his own Kingdom "Ugaas " which is was another form of leadership title in the past .
But However when Garaad (king) Shirshore was born as an Ugaas, he changed the name to a "Garaad." (Ruleship in somali) and became the everlasting Kingdom of the Western harti nation of today also known as Dhulbahante .
Dhulbahante around 1700 Ad they start residing areas that are less diverse compared to the other Harti members or generally to the Somali clans. However, this helped the Dhulbahante people to be safe during the next 380 years til the Europeans came to divide the land of the Somalis.
